The City strives to provide a competitive, comprehensive compensation package that will attract and retain qualified and talented individuals. In recent years, the City instituted a progressive pay plan to raise wages to a level comparable to similar positions in the private sector.
City administration and the governing body have demonstrated their commitment to providing competitive wages through annual COLAs and/or merit increases. In other words, if you perform well, your performance will be rewarded.
The City also offers Longevity Pay as well as paid time off in the form of Vacation, Sick Leave, and Holiday Pay.
