City of Augusta Kansas

The Streets Division of Public Works is responsible for maintenance of all City driving surfaces.  Duties include, but are not limited to, grading, patching, sweeping and striping streets and alleys.  In the winter months, the streets division is responsible for plowing snow from city streets, treating arterial and collector streets with salt/sand mixture to prevent freezing, and treating local intersections where stopping movements are adversely impacted.
