City Manager is responsible for administering the affairs of the city under the direction of the mayor and council who set the policy for the city. The City Manager appoints the municipal judge, city attorney, and heads of the various departments.
He is responsible for the enforcement of the laws and ordinances and for the proper discharge of the city's administrative officers and employees. He has the power to appoint and remove all non-elected heads of departments, officers, and employees of the city and will undertake duties as assigned by the governing body.
