Sidewalk Walking Audit Program

unnamed

The City of Augusta is excited to announce the Sidewalk Walking Audit Program.  Participating in the walking audit program is a simple, fun way to help improve your community while getting some exercise outdoors.  We are asking our residents to take a few minutes to fill out a survey on the condition of City sidewalks while they are walking around their neighborhood.

Sidewalks play an important role in our community, giving our residents and visitors a safe way to get around town and exercise.  The walking audit program will help the City identify where sidewalks exist in town, what condition they are in, and what issues might need to be addressed.

If you are interested in participating, please download the PowerPoint linked below which contains step by step training for how to complete the survey.  Please make sure to read the instructions thoroughly and to look at the example pictures provided. The form itself is linked on the final slide, with both an electronic and physical copy being available.
